Expanding This Blog To Social Media

I decided it was time to create a FB group so that we can share ideas, photos, create dialog and do things that you may not be able to do here.  Come join me at The Soap Bar Blog Facebook Group.  I created a Flickr photo group where many of you have posted photos of your work and I just love peering at the photos because they inspire me.  You can join or peek at The Soap Bar Flickr Group.  I JUST as we speak, created TheSoapBarBlog on twitter!  Who knows why, really, except that perhaps we can all follow each other and get some inside scoopage on soaping experiences.

My intention here is to create a community.  The Soap Bar Community Outreach Program.  Let us unite...

I love you guys!

The Soap Bar Flickr Group Porn

A few months ago I set up a flickr group for us to share our soaps with each other, and I'm really pleased with the outcome. I am happy to see beginners, experts, people I've seen for years, and soapers I've never heard of yet. It's a new experience every time I visit and there is always a sense of excitement for me when I check out the newly uploaded soaps.

The collection that I've pulled together is from The Soap Bar Flickr Group. Please go and browse the pages and pages of soaps that have been so generously shared by soap makers from all around the world. This is an international industry and I am proud to provide a place for us all to share. These images moved me today:

Colorful Saturday Soap Porn

When I came across Quizoc's (Black Dia) Etsy shop, I was so pleased because her soap looks original. Every bar is interesting to look at. It's not what everyone else is making, that's for sure. I am so excited about finding her!! I'm trying to get an interview with her and if shipping isn't too nuts from South Korea, I can hopefully do a soap review.

Have a wonderful saturday.

Get dirty. When you're ready to get clean, use a REAL bar of soap

Soap Bar Flickr Soap Porn

These are some of the photos I took out of the photo pool from The Soap Bar Flickr Group I set up last week. There are 36 members so far. Wow! I am so glad I did!! Look at some of the amazing soaps I peeked at this morning... There are so many more there that I couldn't possibly spend my entire day posting them. Must work.

I love that you are sharing your work. If you haven't shared, please do become a part of the merry little group. It allows each person to upload 6 pictures per day, so have fun with it. :) Let's make it the biggest soap pool in the world! What a beautiful place it is.
