Not An April Fool's Gag (Breast Milk Soap)

The last post I wrote about breast milk soap is all true and NOT an April Fool's gag, I promise. Follow my links to my sources and you will see. And as I said in my earlier post: I believe in breast feeding. It was the most wonderful memories I will take to the grave with me. As far as soaping with my milk? Nah. It was all over me at the time because I produced A LOT!

But soap and soup? Not my bag.

I have a friend who ran out of milk and needed just a little bit for a recipe. She decided to use a little breast milk and once her husband told her how much he liked his dinner she spilled the beans. I don't think she'll ever live it down lol!

Oh my, Heidi...too funny!

Joanna, it may not have been an April Fool's joke, but it was a great post to have for April Fool's Day! :)

Hehe I think it isnt something we're used to. If we were using breast milk all along for butter, cheese and soap and someone suggested cow's milk. We would go cow's milk?!?!?! Yuck!! I still have my reservations with donkey's milk.

I have so many problems making soap with regular milk, I couldn't imagine throwing breast milk into the mix!

I'm a breastfeeder. LOL!! And a pro-using the breast milk in soap person too. LOL!! I posted a recipe on my first blog a little over a year ago. Never tried it myself but should. I've met a couple people who have used it. If I could pump I'd definitely try it.
