Rethinking What To Offer

I know I could be bringing more interesting things to the table right now, but with my children being home for the summer and I mean HOME and not in camp, and my life being crazy on top of that, throw a little business on top of that, add a little migraine hell, then just add regular 'ole life, and you've got yourself a boring blog. I haven't had nearly the kind of time or energy to give it.

I've gotten a few lovely guest bloggers to post (thank you!) and I have a couple others scheduled for the near future, but, I have no master plan for this blog for the moment and I know I must be boring you all to tears, have no good resources, eye candy or much else to give you. Thing is, I can't change much about it for about another month, so until the kiddies go back to school and we get into some sort of schedule, and life goes into normal, The Soap Bar may just be providing you with soap porn.

Short of a miracle, the heat will continue to melt me and kill me slowly.

Pretty much the same story over here too. I'm enjoying having the girls home and trying to spend as much time with them as possible without letting the house become a total wreck or letting my customers down! Hang in there, we'll get back to normal soon enough!

Hang in there lady! Life will come back around soon. It is amazing how having the kids in school can really create structure and predictable routines that make business more bearable. I hope the migraines stay at bay and you are feeling much better.

If there is one area you need to relax about and cut yourself some's the blogging business. Your blog entries of the past have SO MUCH to offer that a month of rest will not make your readers whither with boredom, but go back and read up on some of those old goodies. Two months of absence from my blog miraculously did not chase away my followers (thank you all), and mine isn't even near as rich in nutrition as yours is. All is good, Jo..Be well and take a break (if you can)
Greetings from a fellow migraine-ite, who just got back from 2 months in the desert

I'm in the same boat. House full of kids that are here most of the time. I haven't had much time at all in the studio. The only real time I have is on the weekends when my husband is home. I can't wait for school to start back up. Peace, quiet, and soaping are in my future ;o)

I feel your pain!! This fall will be the first year when ALL THE KIDS ARE IN SCHOOL ALL DAY and I'm so excited that I could... I could.... I don't even know what I could do, 'cause it's just too exciting!!! I have so many ideas for new and interesting soaps- and I really need to get my website redesigned... but, in the meantime, like all the other moms out there- I'm trying to enjoy this time with the kids as much as I can. There will be plenty of time soon to make soap. :)

Enjoy those kiddos! We can always make soap, eh? (or clean, do laundry, etc.) There's dog hair & grass tracked into my house right now, but the garden and the pool beckon, so....gotta go! Happy Days to you! ~Becky :)
