Brined Soap Porn For Briny

Brine Brine Brine.....

Sarah was the one who so generously allowed me to re-publish her salt soap tutorial, which you can see or refer to here. She is a very talented soapmaker and I can't say thank you enough!

Love your blog! I wonder how do you keep the salt bar soap from soaking up moisture from the air? I got a few and they were so wet during the monsoon season and where I live usually do NOT have much moisture. It is desert! I would love to have some salt soap which is great on cleaning gardener dirty hand like mine.

Alex, my guess would be once the bar is fully cured, shrink wrap it until ready for use and then hit the shower with it. That should solve the problem. I haven't had that issue and I live in Florida (USA) - very humid and tropical, but that could change. The soap monsters have been after me.... :P

I use the salt bar recipe (tutorial) from this blog way back when (search it) with some modifications to make it my own. Works beautifully!!
