You would get it to look like the original if you didn't do the in the pot swirl at the bottom and layered lines all the way and also did the swirls at the end closer together both ways. Also pouring higher in the slab mold will help as well.Kathttp://www.vermontcowgirl.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4311017639895537111.post-6067602031637301382013-01-14T11:56:57.252-05:002013-01-14T11:56:57.252-05:00it doesn't look anything like the original soa...it doesn't look anything like the original soap with all the fine lines of colours ????Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4311017639895537111.post-32172250993372497472011-10-22T13:39:37.850-04:002011-10-22T13:39:37.850-04:00Won-der-full! Do you measure the amount of dyes according to each individual color or enough of each for the whole batch? I know, I'm not making sense....let's try this another way.

If you are making a 6lb batch of soap and you are pulling out enough soap for 3 colors...say 8oz each. Do you put in each cup enough dye (select shades) to color the 8oz of soap or enough to color the full 6lbs? I can't seem to get very vibrant colors and I'm not sure if I'm just not using enough dye or it's something else.

Thanks!Theresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17916790430947095921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4311017639895537111.post-67377763576196472902011-06-01T12:36:56.111-04:002011-06-01T12:36:56.111-04:00.wonderful post and great detail! thanks, i will t....wonderful post and great detail! thanks, i will try this method in the fall!..they're beautiful!misty - fiercelookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03134437470617241046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4311017639895537111.post-40018502823065735452011-05-30T00:33:52.283-04:002011-05-30T00:33:52.283-04:00WOW.
