The reason I want to make soaps is because it gives me control over WHAT goes in the product (no SLS, parabens, etc.). Right now the only way to ensure that the oil is sustainable is by purchasing it from a company that buys their palm oil from a supplier that is a member of the RSPO. So far Joanna has found 2 companies providing sustainable palm and both companies have great reputations.
